The experiment adopted two batches of tungsten powder that respectively have 20 months and 12 months of storage time in 30g and made them into grains, which will be pressed on 98KN testing machine under different press power; after the pressing, split the samples in lenthways, it can be seen that the sample section that has the storage time of 20 months and the press power of 14.70KN will be approximately similar with the sample section that has 12 months of storage time and the press power is 4.90KN; the sample section that has 20 months of storage time and the press power is 24.50KN will be almost similar with the sample section that has 12 months of storage time and the press power is 7.80KN. This implies that the longer the storage time of tungsten carbide powder, the poorer the press power will be.
